A price close to RM5k for the iPhone 8 Plus 256GB. For such a premium, some would wait for the iPhone X to be out which is just likely 1-2 months away.

Also, better to wait due to the many recent swelling issues of batteries in the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus phones. Hope they sort this out before the iPhone X is out! Smiley Very Happy

For iPhone users, an upgrade to iPhone 8 is still viable. It is a necessity anyway, if one loves iOS. If I am getting one, I think telco subsidy is doing a great role to make the phone affordable.

One thing, iPhones do tend to last for years. With the ever-increasing sky-high prices of new iPhones, one would not normally upgrade unless something happens to their current iPhone.

Agreed on the telco packages. Telco plans normally span 2 years. I guess the normal upgrade path is like for those users with the iPhone 6S series (or older models). Smiley Very Happy
