Porting over to Digi? You can conveniently do so without changing your existing mobile number, all online and on your own. Check out our guideline below and we’ll walk you through the process.
*Do note that if you’re porting into Digi’s Postpaid network, you can complete the MNP Process online. If you’re porting into Digi’s Prepaid network, you’re required to walk-in to complete the port-in process. To find the nearest Digi Store to you, click here
First, ensure that you satisfy these prerequisite conditions for porting:
Upon submission of your Postpaid registration, an Advance Payment is required that will be rebated into your 1st - 2nd month bill, depending on the Postpaid Plan you’ve signed up for. Next, you’ll need to submit a ‘port in’ request to Digi. This will be subject to Digi’s existing terms and conditions for new registration.
After making a port-in request, check your phone every now and then for a validation SMS from your current operator. Respond in uppercase within the given timeframe and that’s it! The process will take about 2 working days. Once your current operator signal has been disconnected, you can switch over to the Digi SIM card.
*Do note that if the Digi SIM card is inserted before the line is active, you may not be able to get any signal after activation. You will need to remove and insert the SIM card again.
Last but not least, before you start the port-in process, we recommend that you back-up all your contacts and data on your phone storage or on the cloud. Here’s how:
