TAC problems over a period of 3 months

I bought a NOKIA 8110 4G this July and  fuctions well. I monthly use  to retrieve TAC numbers for eBanking and usually works fine. However, it failed me on 3 spearate occasions when I needed to use it badly. On these 3 ocasions, the bank  confirms my handphone is actively registered with their server and their server is fine. Then I am told by Digi the problem is somehwere on their side and specifically NOT my handphone. What seems to be the problem and why so frequent in a period of 4 months? Do I need to throw away this handphone or do I need to change to anotherTelco?
