How long can I keep my postpaid line barred?

My postpaid line just been barred but I want to keep it barred so I won't get charge anymore. Now got outstanding RM350+. Plan to just pay RM10  monthly for the next 36 months. Shouldn't be an issue right? It's an ambassador line with no monthly committment (not my main line)..
