FAQ Port Out Failure

Question

Why  am i unable to port out from Digi? 

 

Answer

Well there are several factors,  sometimes it is due to technical issue(s) or even contract obligations. Here's a list of common reasons:
- You're still on contract obligation

- Prepaid data plan is still active

- Account barred

- Account inactive due to zero credits

- Supplementary account still tied to number

- Mismatch of account/user information

- MNP not performed by owner of account

 

Please contact Digi customer service if you need any MNP related assistance.

Hi my name is Darius Abraham A/L Daniel and my number 01115912749. I've been trying to port out from Digi to a new service provider called Yoodo, but it keeps getting rejected. I tried 3 times this week and all 3 was rejected. I even called the customer service and they said my account was expired but even after activating my account I still get the same result. Can you please check the real problem and get to me.

Hi guys,

 

My name is Reedwan. I have requested to port out of Digi two days ago and received an SMS the next day saying my request was rejected because I did not reply to the verification SMS. The thing is I didn't even received the verification SMS. I have request my nex telco to resubmit the port out request twice, yesterday and today, and I still have not received the verification SMS. Can you please investigate and come up with a solution for me.

It rejected my request from porting out  Digi. It said that one or more phone lines did not reply to our SMS Validation, but I have sent the reply.

I want to port out from digi. Already received the confirmation/validation message and replied "Y" but then my request got rejected by an SMS saying "Sorry, your request was rejected. One or more phone lines did not reply to our SMS Validation. Please call 0162211800 for help" I already try 2 times. Help

Hello,

 

I'm trying to change my line to another telco because of the coverage problem at my place. I'm pretty sure I already replied "Y" yesterday. I followed all the guides to settle this MNP. But today I received text from digi my request is fail. I hope this kind of problem settle ASAP. I need to do my job/task using internet connection. I cannot buy internet data for now while my number is in progress. This is so stressful, this is not my fault that the request is failed. I have screenshots for proof where I DID reply how digi asked me to.

Hello, this is the 3rd time I requested to port out from digi after failed 2 times! I hope this time my port out process is success!! I can't see i'm having problem to change so please let me go. I'm sick of this. The coverage at my place is bad.  Please understand! Thank you.

  1. Port out fail. Some or all numbers do not belong to principle subscriber.
  2. Tried 3 times, fail 3 times, the 3rd one because i recieved the sms late.
  3. Reason to port out, coverage issue.

Dear Digi,

 

You guys are being nasty and unbelievable sucks. My in Laws is trying to port out and enter my celcom account  and we follow all as requested, checked the account there are no abnormal. yet you throw a bunch of issue to prevent them to port out, you think we very free to keep resubmit and resubmit?

 

The numbers are 0168959767 and 0168589767. First time tell us that the number do not belongs to the principal or correct person, you got to be kidding me right? so this belongs to ghost? We gave the correct name and IC for sure. Second time you tell us we didnt response to SMS which never sent again to us. Please be professional and mature not play like kids la please. You really dissapointed us and we are going to raise this issue to MCMC and consumer department! this is bully, forceful block us from port out!

 

I have ask celcom to resubmit today and please make this right! I am really frustracted!

henry6861, Applications need to be submitted using the numbers' respective ownership. If submission were using a different names, those applications will be rejected.

This is ridiculous. My own number from MAXIS port out to Celcom Business smooth like **bleep**, I agree to leave then maxis release then the rest is celcom business. Same logic work here, You asked the number owner is it them who request to leave, we replied yes, You even call us asking are we sure to leave and why leaving, answer given and your agent also said ok. Then whats the problem with the name in CELCOM BUSINESS. Your side showing the owner info and owner sms back you that they are going to leave then what wrong with the rest. Those are just excuse and tactic of your side to stop us from leaving. Why making your customer so hard, we want to leave and go into our family business plan. Obviously celcom offer better, so just let go! Or else give me two iphone 12 pro free in business package, then we will consider staying digi. Simple logic, we want to leave let us go, we do not have contract with you, dont bind us there with your ridiculos policy or whatsoever! WE WANT A SMOOTH LEAVE AND FINISH MY APPLICATION IN CELCOM !!! YOU ARE DELAYING MY WORK !!!

Agree with Henry!  I am also facing the same problem. I was rejected twice. And ALL of them are digi problem. FIrst they said my account was inactive. (This is so hilarious, my account got balance and it's expired end of this month). Second  time, they said i didnt reply 'Y'. (This is also hilarious, i got the confirmation message if you want me to show!)

Anyway, i have already made complaint to MCMC. This is not the right way to do business. Please don't stop us from leaving. by playing this lousy scheme.  And put more effort in makeing your coverage better and line faster. TQ!

Hi DIGI,

I've been trying to port out twice this week, answered Y on the message but still rejected. The reason is my line inactive which is not true since my expire date is 11 April 2021 and active. May I know the real reason why I cannot port out? My number is 0163679813 and it's prepaid.  I already ask Unifi to resubmit my request. Please ensure my switch over successfully.
