I've been charged RM42 per month since July for a RM3.00/SMS like this
RM3.00:Enjoy video, enjoy life: http://bit.ly/2IQpwaf
This was charged to my sub-line and I didn't notice it until now. Upon investigating further and reading this forum, I noticed that this is a common occurances, why should Digi even allow such unsolicited charges. I checked the history, and there were no sent out messages that confirm such subscription. The first ever message was
RM0.00: Successful registration. No subscription fee. Price: RM3.00/sms. 30 sms/month. Renewal on 01/08/2019. To cancel, send stop dme to 33375
I tried but can't stop the subscription, and please assist to cancel and reverse the charges.
Also please offer an option to disable this subcription feature. I know some users do want this kind of service, but majority of us is already internet connected, there's no reason that we need to pay RM3.00 for a video link.

I am a victim of this scam too.
Check with Digi, they are unable to provide the proof of how I subscribe to the service, just give general answer of I might be clicking on the pop-up or advertisement or reply to SMS. The matter of fact is Digi do not know how we get into this, or Digi might working silently with these service provider quietly at the back and deducting our money wihtout us notice. The best part is, Digi always encourage us to subscribe auto billing payment from credit card so hopefully we overlook the charges.
This is unaccetable and very disaapointing, imagine how many victims out there who do not well verse in English or internet savvy, their hard earn money vanished just like that. Every victim RM 30/mth, if 1000 victims will be RM 30,000/mth. The money could channel to illegal or unauthorise activity.
Digi should stop having any business relationship with this service provider.
This matter should make know to MCMC too.
