TAC Code issue for MyDigi App log-in

I'm experiencing this issue where everytime I log in to My Digi app, I'm required to log-in my information and request a TAC code. The issue is, after requesting the TAC code, I wait for 2-3 mins and never receive the text message with the code. I've called customer service about this issue previously, and they said the issue is due to maintenance or my area coverage. 

 

I don't know if that is really the root cause of the issue... but am I the only one facing this TAC issue? Quite troublesome I can't access MyDigi app to pay bills or check my quota.

 

Tbh, do we really need a TAC code for logging in to an app? Even bank apps (i.e. Maybank) don't ask for TAC code when logging in. Only when confirming a fund trasnfer they request for TAC.
