1. TNB’s Electricity Bill Rebate Program
We can never get away from bills, and one of them includes the monthly electricity bill. The PEMULIH initiative announced a discount of 5%-40% off your monthly bills that will last 3 months starting July 2021. The discounts are as follows:
40% discount for usage under 200kWh
15%discount for usage of 201-300kWh
Businesses affected by the latest FMCO will also receive an additional 3-month extension of the 10% electricity bill discounts until December. Eligible sectors include hotels, theme parks, convention centres, malls and tourist agencies.
On top of that, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is also offering RM40 Electric Bill Rebate Programme to finance monthly electricity bills to those who are underprivileged and registered in the e-Kasih system as a part of the targeted government assistance program.
To check your eligibility for e-Kasih, visit the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA) portal. For eligible e-Kasih users without TNB registered accounts, applications may be submitted to declare third-party accounts by filling in the application form at any of the nearest “Kedai Tenaga”. All you have to do is to submit the RM40 Rebate Application Form and a copy of your Identity Card as supporting documents. Now, you can also save up while paying your monthly bills! 😍

2. Digi Free 10% Credit - Claim eBelia, Reload, and Get FREE credit up to 10%!

The eBelia eWallet program, an initiative by the Ministry of Finance is set to open for redemptions starting 1 June 2021 till 22 July 2021. This is open to Malaysians aged 18 - 20 years old (born between 2001 to 2003) or full-time students at diploma level, SKM4 and above, at a registered local higher educational institution. Each eligible youth will be able to redeem the RM150 credit with additional benefits such as cashbacks, vouchers, points or coins (subject to the eWallet provider you choose to redeem from).
