#DigiCares: Delays on Pick Up/Delivery Services for Affected Areas in Malaysia

You will still be able to purchase plans, devices and accessories on the Digi Website. However, please be informed that due to the recent areas declared under PKPDB (Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketatkan Bersasar), customers might experience a delay in delivery/pickup services with our courier partner, GDex due to operating time for essential services, road closures, office closures and procedures that need to be strictly followed during this time period.
For Sabah, do expect delays in delivery/pick up services effective 29th September 2020 till 12th October 2020,
Postcode and areas affected as per below:
- Lahad Datu, under the postcode 91100
- Tawau, under the postcode 91000
- Kunak, under the postcode 91200
-Semporna, under the postcode 91308
Update: Delivery/Pick Up services in the previously affected areas in Perlis, Perak and Kedah are now back to its normal operating hours! Rest assured your parcels will be delivered to you swiftly from now on. See below for the locations:
*Perlis - previously affected areas under the postcode 02800 include: - Kampung Kuala Sanglang
- Kampung Tanah Timbul.
*Perak - previously affected areas under the postcode 08000 include:
- Aman Jaya, Kenanga,
- Aman Jaya, Melur
- Aman Jaya, Mawar

If you’re staying within the affected areas in Sabah and have yet to receive your parcel, fret not! Our courier partner will contact you and is ready to advise on the next steps. We’ve listed out some answers for your queries below:
Q1.Will I be notified on pending deliveries if I’m within the areas affected? A1. Yes. Customers will be notified by GDex via i-SMS.
Q2. What is the delivery process for affected areas? A2. Delivery process will be as per usual and packages will be forwarded to the nearest accessible branch. Rest assured our courier partner will hold your packages till it’s safe for collection.
Q3. Can I arrange for a third-party collection? A3. Yes, third-party collections can be arranged provided there’s an approved Letter of Authorization to enter the affected areas.
