Digi brings unlimited streaming to music lovers

by Contributor on ‎15-04-2015 05:12 PM

Digi has launched its Music Freedom pass in partnership with some of the world's top music services in an effort to bring unlimited, inspiring mobile entertainment content to its subscribers.

Digi subscribers with any Internet plan can activate the Music Freedom pass to stream all the music they want from the most popular music discovery, streaming and Internet radio services including Deezer, Spotify, Rdio, KKBox, Soundhound, Hitz.fm, Era.fm, My.fm, BE-AT.TV and Q.us without worrying about expensive data changes or eating into their data quota.

"Music is about freedom – freedom of expression, freedom of the arts, freedom to be entertained and freedom to be inspired. We took this as our inspiration when developing our offering. We want our subscribers to enjoy music with the freedom of being able to listen to it anytime and anywhere on their smartphones," said Christian Thrane, Digi's Chief Marketing Officer.

"Music is universal and appeals to everyone. Similarly, music services are also very personal choices and we don't limit our offering to only one service. What's unique about the Digi Music Freedom pass is it allows subscribers to enjoy unlimited streaming from the most popular services that they are already using and are familiar with," he added.

The new music partnerships further extends Digi's leading position in making legal music more affordable for Malaysians. The Music Freedom pass is in-line with the company's Digi Live brand proposition to bring the newest and most inspiring entertainment content along with the latest digital service innovations from global partners.

To add to the good news, Digi is giving 90 days of free streaming when customers subscribe to the Music Freedom pass from now until 30 June. Thereafter, the Digi Music Freedom pass can be purchased for RM3 per month for unlimited music streaming.

To subscribe, Digi customers should download the Digi Music Freedom app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. For more information, visit http://digi.my/musicfreedom
