Consignment: Made a SIM or device bundle purchase on Digi Store Online? Here’s what happens next!

If you’re wondering what happens after you buy a SIM or device bundle on the Digi Store online, we’ve got you covered! Here’s what you need to know.

 

MNP SIM purchase
Once you have successfully made your purchase, you will instantly receive an order confirmation slip which includes your order details and transaction number via email.

 

After you have received the SIM, our system will automatically trigger the port in process. If you are not ported in automatically, you may reach out to our Customer Support to assist you with port in.

 

You will receive your purchase within a minimum 3 business days after your order has been confirmed (Peninsular Malaysia) or minimum 4 business days after your order has been confirmed (Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan).

 

UPDATE: Your consignment note number is now available in the Delivery Details email. You will receive this email 1-2 days after you have made your purchase. You can also track your purchase via the GDex e-tracking page that is also available in the email.

For purchases with devices, there are two phases of delivery:

Phase 1
You will first receive your SIM and our system will automatically trigger the port in process. If you are not ported in automatically, you may reach out to our Customer Support to assist you with port in.

Phase 2
If port-in is successful, you will receive a notification via SMS and email, and your bundled device will be on its way! If port-in is unsuccessful, you will receive a rejection SMS and email that will require you to check your account status with your current telco operator before the next resubmission.

 

Do note that there are also two separate consignment note numbers for device bundles:
- First consignment note number for SIM (delivery phase 1)
- Second consignment note number for your bundled device (delivery phase 2) upon successful port-in.

 

You will receive your device within 5-14 business days after your mobile number has successfully switched to Digi.

 

Similarly, you will receive the Delivery Details (that includes your consignment note number) email 1-2 days after you have made your purchase.

Hi, It’s been about two weeks since I apply to port in and my SIM card is still with gdex. Why don’t they just deliver instead of just calling me. My job have a strict requirement prohibiting staff from using phone while working and when I called, I could never reach their local staff, calls are diverted to their hotline in KL . Anyway, I’m too tired of waiting so could I get my sim elsewhere instead of waiting ?

I’ve made an online subscription for a new digi postpaid plan and opted for a new sim card replacement. I’ve received my sim card last Monday, but I have not got any sms to activate my new sim. I learned that you will receive a confirmation sms before you’re able to use your new sim.

Hi asyiqinrozaidi. Usually, the SIM card will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days. Since today is the first working day after 17-11-2018, we believe that the consignment number will be available later today or tomorrow. Thank you.

Oh I see. Is there any way for self pick up option? Or any estimation on gdex delivery eta? because i Have work trip on wednesday evening (21/11/18)

The delivery will take minimum 3 working days to Peninsular Malaysia and minimum 4 working days for Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan. For self-pick up, you can arrange with our courier partner once the tracking number is available. You may track the delivery status from this link http://www.gdexpress.com/malaysia/e-tracking

Hi Digi,

 

I’ve recently just received my purchase and new sim card but I have not got any sms/instruction to activate my new sim. Currently  I am still using my old sim card and I wish to use the new sim. From previous post, I learnt that  I will receive a confirmation sms before I am able to use your new sim.  Appreciate your prompt respond.
