Registering new Debit Card for auto-billing

by Marshie SuperUser ‎17-03-2017 01:16 PM - edited ‎31-05-2017 04:25 PM

Hi friends,

Due to Bank Negara’s revised rules in 2016, customers using the new Debit Cards with PayWave capabilities MUST perform the following steps to avoid any auto-billing payment errors.

Here’s how:

Step 1: Check expiry date of Debit Card
- Make sure the expiry date of the registered Debit Card is at least 1 month away.

Step 2: Contact the bank card issuer to:
- Register for online 3D transactions.
- Set up a standing instruction to pay your Digi monthly bill (Banks are required to reset to the original setting after your card has been changed).

Step 3: Visit the nearest Digi Store or Digi Store Express
Provide the following to the Digi Consultant at the store to complete the auto-billing registration process:
- NRID card/passport and Debit Card for auto-billing registration.
- CVV number from the back of the Debit Card.
- Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC) or One-Time Pin (OTP).

Step 4: Auto-billing registration complete
- The service is activated almost immediately and will be reflected in the next billing cycle.
